As a Dark Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and driving sales. You will work closely with the area manager and other store managers to ensure that the store meets its financial and operational objectives while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
. Manage and motivate a team of site associates to achieve targets and provide excellent customer service.
. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of merchandise.
. Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
. Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
. Manage the store’s budget and financial performance, including analyzing sales data and implementing cost-saving measures.
. Create schedules for staff and manage payroll and other administrative tasks.
. Build relationships with stakeholders and provide exceptional service to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and make recommendations to the district manager and other store managers.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field.
. 4-6 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a similar store environment.
. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
. Knowledge of retail sales and merchandising principles and techniques.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations for improvement.
. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
